Selling Music
FAQs
How does it
work? I'm so confused.
IndieRockCDs wants to warehouse
and sell your cds. We're going to create a little entry
in one of the genre categories that will link to your very
own artist/band page. You will therefore have your own url
ie. www.indierockcds.com/yourbandname.
Pretty cool huh?
We will create 4 one minute
song clips and will make more for $2 per song. You need
to send us 5 copies of the CD for resale. One of these
is for IndieRockCDs to review and create song clips from,
which means you must sacrifice it to the IndieRockCD Gods.
You'll need to fill out our submission
form giving us all of the important information
we need and more importantly the information your fans will
want to know about you. Easy enough so far right?
Throw us a
bone here
In order for us to make beautiful
music together we must help each other out. We scratch your
back, you scratch ours. So, we ask that if you have a web
site and/or my space page that you create a link pointing
to your band page here at IndieRockCDs. It's pretty logical
that you'll want as many of your fans to visit your IndieRockCD
page to buy your music and that is an easy way to do so.
What about
CDRs?
In a
perfect world, every band's CDs would be glass mastered
and professionally printed but that just isn't the case.
We get it. So, we will accept CDRs as long as the packaging
is aesthetically pleasing. You know nicely printed CDs with
a jewel case and some sort of tray and booklet artwork.
Do your best.
What if things
don't work out? Can I cancel?
Of course you can cancel but
please give the process some time. The magic may not happen
overnight. We'll send you back your cds minus the one you
sacrificed to the IndieRockCDs Gods but your registration
fee of $9.99, unless you got the early bird special, is
not refundable.

Buying Music
FAQs
How do I buy
a CD?
Here it goes. You find the
CD you want to purchase and click the Add to Cart button.
Whew thanks for hanging in there. There's also a View Cart
button which allows you to see what is in your shopping
cart and it even gives you the option to delete what's in
your cart. You still with me?
We use PayPal to process our
transactions because so many online consumers are familiar
with the process and it's extremely secure. When you
pay with PayPal, your credit card and bank numbers are never
seen by us. Your financial information stays safe. Plus,
you’re protected 100% against unauthorized payments
sent from your account. They've got it all figured out.
