Kelsey Bulkin's sound is thoughtful, her lyrics; thought provoking meditations on the human condition, touching on both what we tend to strive for, and what we tend to fall from. Her sound combines the emotional intensity of Damien Rice and the trusted tone of James Taylor set over hushed acoustic melodies similar to Iron and Wine. Her music is unforced yet penetrating.

  Kelsey lives in Berkeley, writing her own music in between problem sets and creative, low-cost cooking. She is currently in collaboration with her friend and cellist Alison Greenberg to record some sweet new breeze from the bay.
