LIQUIDIOUS RELEASES
“DEEP BLUE SEA” ON NEW INDEPENDENT LABEL
The Woodlands, TX September 12, 2007 – Liquidious
releases a ten song CD entitled “Deep Blue Sea”.
A new independent label and publishing entity “Cork
Barrel Recordings and Publishing” was created to further
promote, distribute, and support the artist.
Liquidious was established in 2005 as a creative
outlet for the artist. Deep Blue Sea was recorded and mixed
at Origin Sound in Spring, TX. The mastering and duplication
was handled
by Jeff Wells at Soundarts Studios, Houston, TX. Craig Douglas
engineered the project which was produced by Dave Hanlin.
Production assistance was provided by Jim Finley Productions.
The songs are structured to be performed in
various contexts both acoustically and electrically with
improvisational capabilities. The music could be best described
as a fusion of genres, which
include blues, swing, jazz, funk, rock, pop and R&B
with world music influences. A custom Leslie guitar amplifier
was built specifically to create a unique sound for the
backing rhythm.
