  Marina's Daughter was born somewhere deep in the Russian   ghetto of West Hollywood California in the late days of 2006. Who   knows who or what she will grow up to become, sound like, or   resemble...we all wait patiently... Marina's Daughter combines the   classical training and talent of Jonathan Fessenden with the   distinct, addictive and sultry vocals of Kate Zenna. The music   crosses through many genres to provide a universally pleasing   sound. The playful lyrics and soothing vocal melodies are perfectly   balanced with catchy yet classy instrumentalbeats, samples, and   rythms. The era from which Marina's Daughter hails, is not easily   determined. The music harkens back to a smoky 1930's cabaret   lounge, then takes you to ambient sounds of the late 90's and then   swoops you over for a bit of samba and reggae.
