Not
Tonight Josephine ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Michele is a french
singer song-writer based in Paris.
In 1997 she met Alex, a drummer, and founded Not tonight
Josephine.
Different bassist and guitarist played with
them until they created with Parker on guitar and Gilles
on bass the sound of the band.
Combining bits of distorted guitar riffs with solid
bass and sophisticated drums, or clean guitars with dirty
crunchy fender rhode and natural bright piano, they found
their own blend to play Michele's melodic pop rock songs.
They do many gigs in Paris and surrounding area and
were the guest band of Billy Paul at the Theatre of Saint
Germain en Layes.
In 2001, they performed at The Reservoir (Paris) where Tori
Amos, Radiohead and many others were invited by "Ray
Cokes" at "Music Planet 2nite".
MCM Session, broadcast on the french channel MCM,
offered them 30mn of programme with live performance and
interview and so did France Inter, a french national Radio.
One day, Gilles left the band... and Max joined them.
Released in 2005, "Number sixteen"
is the first homemade EP of the band.
Six songs, six flavors for a day.
