Pawn Shop Jababa
is an up-and-coming band based out of Boulder. They
are quickly making a reputation for themselves around
Boulder and Denver for their legendary live shows. Their carefully
crafted songs deftly blend intricate instrumental sections
with energetic, soulful vocals that leave audiences
begging for more. Their music runs the gamut of genres,
including rock, jazz, funk, ragtime, blues, and soul.
They are a six-piece, featuring guitar, bass, keys (fender
rhodes electric piano and hammond organ), sax, drums,
and female vocals. Fresh off of a successful performance at
this year's Wakarusa Festival in Lawrence, Kansas, Pawn
Shop Jababa is gearing up for a heavy load of shows
in Colorado's front range this fall. This band is a
must-see; it is only a matter of time before the secret
of Jababa gets out to the rest of the country.
